The Rosemont Dome is hosting its second big boxing match today, Friday, September 15th; where world ranked Light Heavyweight Mike Lee is set to defend his title and attempt to go 20-0 against Anthony “The Quiet Storm” Quattrocchi. This event is set to be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, and be announced by the world class commentators, Paulie Malignaggi and Al Bernstein, right after announcing the PPV fight for the Connor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather mega-event.
With the wide-range of events offered at Rosemont, it’s easy to forget that this dome was purchased from Arizon for the primary use as a baseball dome. While that still remains true, The Dome at the Ballpark also hosts basketball tournaments, college level events, volleyball tournaments, and many other activities, which goes to show that these types of structures can be expanded well beyond their primary use.
