The structural integrity of an air-supported building is dependent upon the equipment inflating the building, which is why it is so important to pair your facility with a system that was designed to be exclusively used with an air-supported building.

Our system uses a dual fan design for maximum energy efficiency. An ultra-low horsepower fan runs 24/7 to inflate the facility, while a slightly higher horsepower fan kicks on at intervals to force warm or cool air into the dome. Our system also comes with a backup fan.

Enhanced Ventilation

For operators who require the use of heavy equipment in our domes, Arizon’s team of mechanical engineers will design a comprehensive air handling system to vent the dome at a much higher capacity than typically required to ensure air quality in the dome remains clean and safe for all working in the facility.

Because Arizon offers a fully custom design, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to this, but typically for this type of operation, our team will design for the following modes:

  • ‘Overnight Mode’ with no ventilation for maximum efficiency
  • ‘Standard Mode’ with minimal ventilation for typical operation
  • ‘High-Vent Mode’ triggered by an operator when needed for higher capacity
  • ‘Max-Vent Mode’ triggered by air quality monitoring systems when needed

Controls

Our in-house controls team will design a fully-custom solution to ensure your Arizon Building System will seamlessly integrate within your existing operating structure.

Namely, Arizon will often design our systems to integrate into your company’s Building Management System (or BMS) which can be done in a variety of programming languages such as Modbus, BACnet, or LonWorks.

For customers without a BMS, we will typically supply a remote controller with a web access card that allows operational staff to monitor and make adjustments via a VPN on any web-enabled device such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
